Join the Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra for
this special "club" performance at The Jazz Kitchen.
Any dedicated fan of big band music will not want to miss
seeing Indiana's premier repertory big band appearing at
Indianapolis' premier jazz club. The Jazz Kitchen is a wonderful
live-music venue, featuring world-class food, intimate table
seating, and a smoke-free environment in the restaurant
performance area. Although the cover charge for this performance
is only $10 per person, you should plan on making dinner
reservations in advance since seating is very limited.
The Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra, along with
vocalists Lydia McAdams & Rick Vale will perform a tribute
to GEORGE GERSHWIN - one of America’s greatest songwriters.
You’ll hear classic tunes like Fascinating Rhythm,
Embraceable You, I Got Rhythm, The Man I Love, Our Love
Is Here To Stay, Strike Up The Band, Summertime, A Foggy
Day In London Town, plus more!
In addition to performing timeless Gershwin
melodies, the Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra will perform the
very best of the big band repertoire, including jazz standards
as well as other hit songs from the Great American Songbook!
